From PsychologyCode:
Tap Attack! has been shown to improve three specific brain regions.

- The first region deals with focus and attention: The game has been designed to move the target at a rate that is most comfortable to you. In Challenge mode you are pushed to the LIMIT . During this your brain will physically adapt to in the areas associated with detecting movements. The areas involved with basic recognition will also improve as you are challenged to avoid bombs, and other undesired targets.

- In order for the brain to best adapt to these changes in recognition it must make improvements to the areas in the frontal cortex involved with decision making, and basic conditional response reactions. Due to the high-level nature of the frontal cortex several other regions of the brain also will be affected such as the regulation of stress related responses from the amygdala.

- The third region of the brain which Tap Attack! has been designed to improve is your reaction time. Detection is just the first piece to benefits of Tap Attack! as a brain game. The areas of the brains associated with executing your Tap with speed and accuracy will also be improved.

Tap Attack! as a brain game has many great benefits, and if you are interested in improving your brain while having fun then you should definitely check out Tap Attack!
